Featuring original research and client projects, conducted by students and postdoctoral research scholars/scientists. Earth Institute undergraduate and graduate students deliver public briefings on the analytic environmental sustainability projects that they undertake for real-world clients in government and nonprofit agencies, as part of a capstone workshop course. Student recipients of Earth Institute funding present their research in the annual Student Research Showcase; topics range from biodiversity to urban planning, and from earth sciences to international development. The Earth Institute Postdoctoral Symposium features the work of current postdoctoral research scholars/scientists.
